Lourdes is a highly qualified professional with a legacy of successful leadership roles in business, consulting services, human resources, and professional development in various industries including extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Her deep expertise in the successful design and implementation of large scale, multi-site business processes has helped to create highly profitable companies positioned for remarkable growth and sustainability. Lourdes has over 15 years of significant experience in the healthcare industry including starting her career as a medical technologist in chemistry.
In 2009, Lourdes founded Marcet & Co., an executive and personal coaching service. Since starting the company, Lourdes has coached individuals, groups, and teams – helping them to acknowledge their strengths, develop and exhibit high-performance behavior, and foster their own development and growth as well as that of their teams and colleagues.
Before founding her own business, Lourdes co-founded Adjoined Consulting, a management consulting firm, where she was charged with establishing and managing the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Departments. Adjoined went on to set the bar for private US Information Technology services value creation in the post-2000 era and was ultimately acquired by Capgemini. Lourdes stayed with Capgemini North America post-acquisition and continued in her role managing onboarding and professional development of the high performing team that she helped to build.
Before Adjoined, Lourdes was the Business Operations Manager for Custom Service Solutions at Novell (formerly Cambridge Technologies Partners) where she managed Resource Planning for North America. Prior to that she was the Systems Manager for the Pathology Department at the University of Miami Hospital and was responsible for the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Lourdes’s style is direct and candid, mixed with humor and warmth, which supports a healthy and collaborative learning environment. Her commitment fosters trust and confidence and her naturally entrepreneurial spirit enables her to develop strategies for continuous personal and professional growth.
Lourdes has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami. She is also a University of Miami Certified Professional Coach and an International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialed coach.
